9 J <br />Mr. Feneli.stated he has talked to Marie Coffey, Representative of Viacom, <br />and it is his understanding that.the Construction Manager of Viacom and.Mr. <br />Amendola had a meeting and the problems were being.settled. <br />Mr. Amendola confirmed that Viacom was informed and they agreed on work <br />that must be done to correct the installations. He estimated if the <br />corrections are started now, cable television might be in the homes in <br />six weeks. <br />Arco Property Fencing <br />Council President Spellma.n stated he understands this was discussed by.the <br />Finance Committee and.asked if Mr. Amendola had any comments. <br />Mr. Amendola stated he has submitted plans, as'requested by Mrs. Bloom and <br />Mr. Etzler. One plan is with a continuous fence, the other with fencing <br />intermittently placed around the property with planter boxes in between. <br />Mr. Busa.stated he attended the Finance Committee Meeting this evening and <br />there have been some concessions made. He said they recommend the fencing <br />go.completely around.the property.with indentations to the fence.with <br />garden spots. A sketch will be available for further explanation. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Spellman, made a motion to authorize Mr. Amendola <br />to determine the most economical source for the best material, and have a <br />staggered fence installed on the Arco property. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Busa, Flynn, Spellman,.Mrs. Hanus <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Lyndhurst Municipal Court'Bil1. <br />Mr. Feneli explained that within the last year the State legislature has <br />enacted a law changing the method of financing for Municipal courts that <br />represent more than the city in which they are located, which applies to <br />Mayfield Village. He explained the new procedure being used to figure <br />payment due to the court from each municipality. He said for the last <br />six months of 1981 the Finance Director of Lyndhurst, Jean Tidd, has <br />figured Mayfield Village would owe $559.59 for operations. He said the <br />law is not clear as to whether it should be done.on a six month or <br />calendar basis. He will be contacting Law Directors from Lyndhurst, <br />Richmond Heights and Gates Mills to see what action could be taken as <br />the amount due, if figured on a calendar year, would be much less. He <br />tna.y ask the Attorney General for a ruling on this. <br />Mr. Busa proposed the subject be tabled for further consideration. <br />Council President Spellman stated he agrees with Mr. Busa as Mr. Feneli <br />will keep Council posted.
