<br />Cemetery - Council President Spellma.n stated Mr. Busa is not present so <br />there is no report. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola stated there is no need for a Board of <br />Appeals Meeting this month. <br />Community Room - Mrs. Hanus stated the Swap Meet was held Sunday, April <br />18 at the John D. Relic Service Building. She reported per Nancy <br />Plastine there were 422 door receipts but she felt there were more in <br />attendance as the meet was held outdoors also. She said the Village <br />Cooks were in charge of the food there. <br />Mr. Al Scaccia stated the next Swap Meet Club Meeting is the day liefore <br />the next Community Room Committee Meeting so he will have a report ready <br />for that meeting - Wednesday, May 5th. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated the Village Garage Sale will be April 24 and 25. <br />Regarding advertising, she said Mayor Beebe sent a letter to the Sun <br />Messenger and Mrs. Schulz and the Nickersons sent a letter to the Cleveland <br />Press. Posters were dropped off at Channel 5 and sent to cable television <br />for their bulletin boa.rds. She stated that everyone has received a copy of <br />the ordinance authorizing Copper-and Associates as architects for the <br />Community Room. She stated the Community Room Committee agreed with the <br />ordinance and recommend that Council pass it tonight. <br />Mr. Busa returned to the meeting during this report. <br />Mr. Amendola stated if the ordinance is passed by Council he.can notify <br />Mr. Copper to continue the drawings that he had started originally. His <br />personnel will be in touch with Mrs. Hanus and the Committee and they <br />will check with the Committee before any final decisions are made on the <br />drawings. <br />Mr. Amendola reported the cost of excavating the sanitary lines to the <br />street should be available by mid-week. He said Chief Hejcl has submitted <br />some figures to the Engineer to make a determination of how much larger <br />the pipe would have to be to accomodate the Fire Department. He wi11 <br />notify Mrs. Hanus of the prices when they are received in writing. <br />Ordinance 82-29, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH <br />COPPER AND ASSOCIATES, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOUR THOUSAND <br />EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES TO BE RENDERED FOR THE <br />COMMUNITY CENTER AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Mayor <br />and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Busa, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. Bloom and Mrs. <br />Hanus <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended
