114 <br />Mayor Beebe asked if Council wanted Mr. Walter Chapman, our Insurance <br />Representative, to attend the May 17 Council Meeting to discuss the <br />increase in insurance. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Council agreed they would like Mr. Chapman to attend the May 17 meeting. <br />Arco Fencing <br />Mr. Busa said this was discussed by the Finance Committee and it was <br />determined dollars ar.e.available. <br />Mr. Etzler read the list of f igures Mr. Amendola has received of the <br />approximate cost of a two or three rail fence. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to authorize the fencing <br />of the Arco property. <br />Mrs. Bloom said she talked to a company she knew of and their figures were <br />lower than those Mr. Amendola received. <br />Mrs. Bloom to refer this information to Mr. Amendola. <br /> <br />Mayor Beebe asked whether those residents in the audience preferred a two <br />or three rail fence. <br />The majority of the aud'ience preferred a two rail fence. <br />Mr. Carmen said he would like information as to the exact cost and source <br />before authorizing the fencing to be done. Mr. Feneli said that would <br />be the correct procedure to follow. <br />Council agreed to withdraw the motions made to authorize the fencing. <br />Further research will be ma.de and authorization will be given after the <br />source and cost of the fencing is determined. <br />Mrs. Bloom proposed an ordinance be written designating the money received <br />from Viacom to be applied towards road repairs. <br />Council agreed this was a good idea. <br />Mrs. Ruggles said this would be acceptable, the money will be designated <br />to the Street Maintenance and Repair Funci. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Council President Spellman said he would like "Closing Comments From the Audience" to become a common procedure so the audience may comment on the <br />meeting.
