<br />I <br />J <br /> <br /> <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance to be Amended <br />Council President Spellman, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to suspend <br />the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mrs. Bloom, made a motion to pass Ordinance 82-35 <br />in title. <br />Council President.Spellma.n asked if there were any comments for discussion. <br />Mr. Etzler said money was not appropriated for a dump truck, so this is an <br />unappropriated expenditure. <br />Mrs. Ruggles said money was appropriated in the Capital Improvement Fund <br />under machinery. <br />Mrs.'Bloom said the dump truck was included in a priority list received from <br />the Service Department but it never made it to the final stages. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />(in title) <br />Ordinance 82-36,entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT TO LOVE <br />INSURANCE AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT`OF SIXTEEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-ONE <br />DOLLARS ($16,171.00) AS LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR FIRE, RESCUE, ERRORS <br />AND OMMISSIONS INSURANCE REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Council President Spellman asked if Mr. Sutton would like to comment. <br />Mr. Sutton said he believed Council has received his letter of May 12 <br />citing that Mayf ield Village will be spending 14% less than they were <br />(a savings of approximately $3,000.00). He feels our overall coverage <br />was greatly improved and there are six new coverages. He thought the <br />bids were competitive. He wants to thank everyone for their cooperation <br />which lead to the document that produced such good results.
