? ? 1 <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola stated the Board o£ Appeals will be meeting <br />Tuesday, Ma.y-25 at the Building Department... <br />Community Room Committee - Mrs. Hanus said the Committee met with Mayor Beebe, <br />Mr.'Amendola and Mr. Copper on May 12 to discuss the architectural drawings <br />for the Community Room. They will be meeting with Mr. Copper again in two <br />weeks. She reported the Village Cooks (Floyd Davis, Pete Nickerson, Jerry <br />Strater and Dave Wheatcroft) put on thE Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast on <br />May 9th. The Community Room Committee helped the cooks. She will have a <br />report as to the profits from the Breakfast at the next meeting. <br />Firemen's Dependents Fund -. Council Presiden.t Spellma.n stated since Mr. Flynn <br />is absent, there is no report. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Council President Spellman stated since Mr. <br />Busa is absent, there is no:report. <br />Cemetery - Council President Spellman stated there is no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Council President Spellman stated there was no quorum at the last <br />meeting so there is no report. Planning & Zoning - Mr. Carmen reported the only.item on the agenda at the <br />last meeting was L.N. Gross. Mr. Gross has come before the Planning & <br />Zoning Commission.and Council requesting a Special Use.Permit to hold retail <br />sales several times a year at his business on.Beta Drive. The Planning and <br />Zoning Commission asked Mr. Gross to make a specific request in order for <br />them to make a proper ruling, so Mr. Gross made a specific request to the <br />Commission. The Commission recommends to Council that the Special Use <br />Permit be denied because they feel the matter may be precedent setting. <br />Mr. Carmen said Mr. Gross wants to come before Council as a Board of Appeals. <br />Recreation - Mr. Carmen said he was unable to attend the.last meeting. <br />Senior Citizen Commission.on Aging - Council President Spellman stated Mr. <br />Busa is not present, however he was advised there are two more prospective <br />members to serve on the Commission. If appointed, their term would be <br />until December 31, 1983. He asked the Coordinator, Mrs. Mikula to introduce <br />them. Mrs. Mikula introduced Mrs. Virginia Porter and Mr. Howard Schulz. Mrs. <br />Mikula stated they both have all the qualifications and have proven their <br />interest in the community. <br />Council President Spellman, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to appoint <br />Mr. Howard Schulz to the Senior Citizen Commission on Aging, term expiring <br />December 31, 1983. <br />?Council P'resident Spellma.n asked if there were any questions.
