?... ? ? <br />Resolution 82-40, entitled; "A RESOLUTION OF APPREC.IATION TO THOMAS KEPTNER." <br />Introduced by Mayor & Council as a Whole. <br />Council President Spellman read the Resolution of Appreciation.for Mr. Keptner <br />who served as Finance Dir.ector. <br />Council President Spellman, seconded by Mr. Busa,.made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution 82-40. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments for discussion. <br />There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Rubbish Removal Specs <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mr. Feneli stated it_is his recommendation that Council reject all bids received <br /> and rebid this item as the specifications should be totally re-worked. He <br /> explained the bid was supposed to include the Vil.lage Hall and Service Building, <br /> and a statement of <br />event of a strike, guarantee as <br />breakdown of to how the <br />equipment, rubbish would be picked up in the <br />etc. He has reconstructed the <br /> specifications to specify these things. H e said we should re-advertise. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Hanus,. made a motion to reject the bids received <br />for rubbish removal. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Bids Rejected <br />Mr. Feneli said he has contacted the bidders and they understood and are willing <br />to re-bid. He said Mr. Shiffer of Village Disposal has agreed to extend his <br />contract through July 31. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, ma.de a motion to re-advertise for bids for <br />rubbish removal as recommended by the Law Director. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Bids to be re-advertised <br />Council recessed for a short break at 9:37 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:48 p.m.
