C) r? <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Council Eresident Spellman, made a motion to suspend <br />the rules of Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Ro11 Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Council President Spellman, made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution 82-60. <br />Council President Spellman asked if there were any comments. <br />Chief Stevens did not receive a copy of this ordinance. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution 82-61, entitled; "A RESOLUTION URGING THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED <br />STATES OF AMERICA TO ENACT THE PENDING LEGISLATION PROPOSING THE EQUAL RIGHTS <br />AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION." Introduced by Councilman Fred <br />N. Carmen. <br />Council President Spellman asked Mr. Carmen to comment. <br />Mr. Carmen said he would urge Council to support this resolution as he feels <br />there is no reason why rights that already exist should not be guaranteed. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to adopt Resolution 82061. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None ? Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution 82-62, entitled; "A RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO THE RATE INCREASE <br />REQUESTED BY THE EAST OHIO.GAS COMPANY." Introduced by the Mayor and Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mr. Joe Baylor, Representative of the East Ohio Gas Company (in the audience) <br />said the East Ohio Gas Company tries to do a good job.and they feel the rate <br />increase is justif ied.- <br />Council President Spellman, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution 82-62. <br />Fi
