VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING <br />TO THE CONNECTION OF RESIDENTIAL DWELLINGS TO THE CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM; <br />AND AMENDING SECTION 133.99 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, PERTAINING TO CERTAIN PENALTIES." Introduced by Mayor Robert G. Beebe. <br />Council President Spellman stated he would like to place this ordinance on <br />f irst reading. <br />Mr. Carmen said he feels a grace period should be allowed. <br />Mr. Feneli said when he and Mr. Amendola discussed this ordinance, they felt <br />it should be discussed in Committee as certain things would need to be revised <br />Council agreed to discuss the ordinance in Committee. <br />Resolution 82-64,=entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INCREASE OF THE <br />SPEED LIMIT ON BETA DRIVE FROM 25 MILES PER HOUR TO 35 MILES PER HOUR AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Etzler, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Council President Spellma.n asked if there were any comments for discussion. <br />There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mrs. Bloom, Mr. Etzler <br />NAYS: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Flynn and Spellman <br /> <br />Council President Spellman stated Resolution 82-64 is placed on f irst reading. <br />Mayor Beebe stated he feels Chief Stevens used rationale in making the decision <br />to change the speed limit. He asked Chief Stevens to submit a letter to him <br />explaining this, again, and he will forward copies to Council. <br />Chief Stevens apologized for having the signs up already but felt per the <br />April 12 Council Meeting it had been approved.
