? <br />Council President Spellma.n asked for a report from the Department Heads on <br />the codif ication of our ordinances. <br />Chief Stevens stated they have begun review but it is a lengthy project. <br />Chief Hejcl said several ordinances must be drawn up and changed. Mr. <br />Amendola said he had submitted about four items that should be added, and <br />others in the Building Codes that must be changed. <br />Mr. Carmen suggested that a schedule be worked out at the next Council Meeting, <br />giving the Department Heads a couple of months to work on the project and <br />discuss it at a meeting in October. <br />Mr. Feneli pointed out that it was up to Council to decide first whether they <br />would like a complete recodification or an update of our present ordinances <br />(replacement pages). As to the review by the Department Heads, he feels that <br />the legal departments of Drane and Justinian Publishing Companies would be <br />helpful in this area. <br />Mayor Beebe and.Mr. Feneli to discuss this matter further and Council to make <br />a decision on September 7th. <br />Community Building Funding <br />Council President Spellman stated he understands that money is available. <br />He feels that it is the general consensus of Council that the project be <br />completed, " . <br />Mr. Amendola reported that approximately $38,000.00 would be needed to make <br />the building useable by the end of the year. <br />After discussion, Mr. Toth and Mrs. Ruggles feel that this matter should be <br />discussed at Finance Committee Meeting. Mr. Toth explained that the <br />Appropriation Ordinance must be changed. <br />Mayor Beebe urged.Council to give serious consideration to this at the September <br />7 meeting. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to advertise for bids for <br />electrical work to be done in the new Community Room. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Bids to be Advertised <br />Ordinance 82-63, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING CHAPTER 945 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ENTITLED "CABLE TELEVISION", PERTAINING <br />TO THE CONNECTION OF RESIDENTIAL DWELLINGS TO THE CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM." <br />Placed on Second Reading. <br /> <br />? <br />
