<br />Mr. Carmen urged residents who might have complaints about cable installations <br />to call Mayor Beebe, Mr. Spellman, or himself. <br />Mr. Amendola sent a copy of his request for proper grounding to the code expert <br />at C.E.I. He requested that Council review the reply. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that Mr. Amendola is most aware of all problems and we are <br />trying to correct all improper installations. <br />Council President Spellman would like to have Mr. Dave Wilson, General Manager <br />of Viacom attend the Sept. 7 Council meeting. <br />Resolution 82-48, entitled;."A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT <br />FUND WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL ACCOUNTING SYSTEM." Introduced by Council President, <br />Michael W. Spe-llman. <br />Council President Spellman said he had discussed this resolution with Mr. Toth. <br />There are various ways we can.go about establishing an equipment replacement <br />fund. <br />Mr. Toth explained.that this Resolution is restricted to Council's determination <br />when they want to transfer money.into this fund. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Council President Spellma.n,,made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution 82-48. Mrs. Bloom asked if there are line items in every department for purchase of <br />equipment. • _ <br />Council President Spellma.n verified this was true. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, and Flynn, and Spellman <br />NAYS: Mrs. Bloom Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Ordinance 82-70, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT TO TONY CALABRESE <br />CEMENT CONTRACTORS, INC. AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION <br />AND UNDERGROUND WORK ON KENWOOD DRIVE IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,739.00 AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY.'.' Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Bloom asked if this includes the drain tiles. <br />Mr. Lou Hovancsek said it does include the drain tiles. He said it is the <br />Engineer's opinion that Council accept the lowest bid.of Tony Calabrese <br />Construction, Inc. <br />Mrs. Bloom, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended
