Motion Carried <br />Bids to be Advertised <br />Sale of Tar Kettle <br />Mr. Amendola explained that the cost of using hot tar on streets has risen <br />considerably and there is considerable danger of employees being seriously <br />burned. He said the cold tar process that came out this year manufactured <br />by Hy-Grade solidif ies better than hot tar and is much safer to use. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded.by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion that we advertise for the <br />sale of the tar kettle. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Bids to be Advertised <br />Beech Hill/Beechers Brook <br />Council President Spellman stated that Council has determined to assess both <br />streets, the issue is about to be resolved. Details to follow on September 20. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Chief Hejcl thanked Council for the three new full time f iref ighers. <br />Mr. Carmen stated that he has been contacted by Mrs. Ackley of 7109 Wilson <br />Mills Road because in the past several months her rubbish has not been picked <br />up by Village Disposal three to four different times. <br />Mayor Beebe said he has talked to.Mrs. Ackley and also Mrs. Wellman of 7113 <br />Wilson Mills Road on this subject. Charles Shiffer of Village Disposal came <br />out on a Sunday to pick up their rubbish. He stated the problem has been <br />corrected.
