?2?? <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr.. Amendola.sLated the Architectural Review <br />Board met on September 16. They reviewed five proposals dealing with the <br />single family district; two room additions on Worton Park, an enclosed <br />swimming pool on Hickory"Hil1, an underground pool on Northboro, and a <br />detached gara ge on Wilson Mills. <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola stated there was no need to hold a meeting <br />this month. <br />Community Room - Mrs. Hanus stated, up to this point the prof its earned from <br />Village Days and the Flea Market are $2,918.04. She reported the Village Cooks will be holding a Harvest Day Breakfast on October 10 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. <br />The cost for adults is $2.95, children under 12 -$1.50 and children under six <br />are free. The Community Room Committee will be assisting the Cooks. The <br />Committee will be selling pumpkins on October 23 and 24. . <br />Mrs. Ruggles stated.$2,100 was received from Beta Days to be added to the <br />Community Room Fund. <br />Firemen's Dependents Fund - Mr. Flynn stated there was no report. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Busa stated they had no summer meetings. <br />The next meeting is Wednesday, September 22 at 8:00 p.m. and everyone is invited. <br />Cemetery - Mr. Busa stated there is no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Council President Spellman stated that he did not attend their first <br />Fall meeting. They will be holaing t heir 6th annual Art Show at the Mayfield <br />Heignts Community Center Gctober 20 - 24. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mr. Carmen stated the Commission met ' September 13. The <br />report on Beta Days was given, which g enexated a little o ver $2,000.00 for the ' <br />Community Room. One of the items for the Workshap agenda is the VanCuren <br />proposal - to expand his parking area. He has a new plan to restripe the entire <br />parking area which would add about ten spaces. <br />Council President Spellman asked if Mr. DeBartolo was.coming in. <br />Mr. Carmen stated that Mr. DeBartolo attended a meeting two.months ago. The <br />Planning and Zoning Commission told him they were not in favor of his proposal <br />and he has not returned. ' <br />Recreation - Council President Spellman stated Mr. Carmen has requested a change. <br />If there are no objections, t4rs. Hanus would like to attend and be a member of <br />the Committee. He stated the Halloween Party will be October 30 at 5:00 p.m..in <br />the Service Building. The Square Dance is September 25 from 8 to 11 p.m. <br />The cost will be $2.00 for adults, and $1.00 for children 12 and under and <br />Senior Citizens. He reported the Summer Softball Program and Playground Program <br />were both very successful.
