'rrC) <br />Engineer and Prosecutor Contracts <br />Council President Spellman stated that Engineer Hovancsek and Prosecutor <br />Feudo's contracts are up. He said Mayor Beebe indicated willingness for <br />their reappointment and he believes Council has too. He said he has <br />spoken with both Mr. Feudo and Mr. Hovancsek and neither are suggesting <br />any increase in their contract. He said he would like Mr. Feneli to <br />prepare the necessary legislation for the December 20 meeting. <br />Temporary Appropriations for 1983 <br />C.ouncil President Spellman asked if legislation would be needed for that. <br />Mr. Toth said that will be discussed at the December 20 meeting. He will . <br />set up the temporary appropriations for Mr. Feneli to prepare the ordinance. <br />Council President Spellman.asked how the additional appropriations and the <br />balancing off of. accounts would be taken care of. <br />Mr. Toth said that because there were so many changes throughout the year, he <br />recommends that one ordinance be drafted to cover the entire year. He would <br />like the ordinance prepared on a line to line basis instead of being grouped <br />into personal services. This ordinance would come about during the first <br />meeting in January. <br />Mr. Feneli reported that Mr. Rick Carbone joined his office on the f irst of <br />this month and they have purchased together a computer system. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Council President Spellman stated the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission to Mr. Paris' proposal was 5 to 2 against Mr. Paris' request. He <br />said this will be on the agenda for December 20 for a vote as a Board of Appeals. <br />Mrs. Hanus requestea.that the Village advance $2,200.00 for the purchase of the <br />Christmas trees to be sold by the Community Room Committee, which they will pay <br />back. <br />Council President Spellman said he verified the sale is going to be held on the <br />corner of Wilson Mills and S.O.M. <br />Mrs. Hanus said they thought they were going to have to hold the sale at the <br />Service Building but apparently permission was given to hold it at the corner. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Council President Spellman, made a motion to advance funds <br />to the Community Room Committee for the purchase.of Christmas trees, conditioned <br />upon it's full repayment. <br />Mr. Flynn questioned if the sale was going to be held within the rail fence <br />on the corner lot. He thought we were trying to protect that ground.
