t?;;i77 <br />Mr. Aaron Paris stated.the original size of the Beta Complex was 79,000 square <br />feet and it was reduced to.66,300.squaYe feet. The percentage of buildings <br />leased is 92%. Building C is 7,200 square feet and 4,100. square feet is <br />presently occupied by C.W. Courtney, an engineeiing and surveying company. <br />Mr. Aaron Paris stated they would like to lease the remaining 3,100 square <br />feet to some doctors for a medical center. Regarding the parking status, <br />presently there are enough.spaces for 415 cars and as Pat Lauer has <br />determined through his surveys, on most days only about 175 are used. If <br />Council granted tliem the right'to go ahead with this facility, there would be <br />enough parking under the present code regulation of 75 square feet per square <br />foot of inedical building occupancy. <br />Mr. Feneli asked how many doctors are involved in the group of doctors that ' <br />would lease the remaining 3,100 square feet of Building C for a medical clinic, <br />and how ma.ny support people they would have. <br />Mr. Aaron Paris said .they are dealing with a principal doctor who represents <br />he and his partners. After checking his written information, Mr. Paris said <br />they expect to have three doctors operating in the premises along with 9 to. <br />12 employees at one time. <br />Mr. Carmen.questioned the total number of doctors that would revolve, sharing <br />the premises. ` <br />, Mr. Aaron Paris stated they have not fully determined how many doctors.they <br />will have but he expects there will be seven or more. <br />Mr. Carmen questioned if there would be the three doctors that are partners <br />plus the seven or more additional doctors revolving. <br />Mr. Aaron Paris said that was right. <br />Mr. Carmen questioned if they anticipate using any disiting specialists. <br />Mr. Aaron Paris said in the initial stages - no, down ttie road - yes, but <br />they.could not say specifically.when. They want to try it as a family. <br />practice first to see if they will gerierate enough business to warrant.a <br />specialist to come in one day.a week or whatever. <br />Mr. Carmen quest.ioned if it had been indicated there would ever be more than <br />three doctors present at one time. <br />Mr. Paris said their original plan was to have three doctors off ices and eight <br />exam roomso They felt they should never have more doctors than off ices. <br />Mr. Carmen asked why the original plan of 79,000 square feet for the building <br />complex was changed to 66,000 square feet. <br />Mr. Aaron Paris said the change was voluntary. <br />Mr. Etzler asked if this was an original method of practicing medecine.
