<br />Mayor Carmen read a portion of his letter_of August 22, 1984, to Governor <br />Celeste regarding this problem. He said he has copies of this letter <br />along with the resolution adopted by Council supporting the interceptor <br />sewer for those in the audience. He urged the residents to continue their <br />support of the interceptor sewer. He feels that since next year is an <br />election year, they will obtain better results for their efforts. <br />Mr. Arnold Gleisser, Richmond Heights Environmental Board -,stressed the <br />importance of a large attendance at the upcoming meeting to be held at the <br />church. He mentioned several persons who had been invited to attend the <br />meeting. Mr. Gleisser suggested letters be written, and phone calls made <br />to show strong support of the project. <br />There were no other comments from the audience. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting of Council - March 18,1985 - Mr. <br />Basile, seconded by Mrs,. Bloom, made a motion to accept the minutes as written. <br />Roll Call: AYES: -All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Accepted <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br />Mr. Etzler announced that there will be a Public Hearing on May 13 regarding <br />the Community Development Block Grant Program. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS " <br />Mr. Po'satiere said t.he Fire Department renovation pro3ect is going smoothly. <br />Mr. Feneli said he has a.meeting scheduled with Mr. Orkin this Thursday <br />regarding the Weisberg litigation. He has contacted Mr. Santieommo and <br />advised him that we have obtained a judgment against him regarding the <br />Diversified case and that we have a lien on this propetty. Ha wi11 keep <br />Council posted on the progress of the case_. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola said the meeting date has.been <br />changed to the fourth Thrusday each month. <br />Board of Appeals -Mr. Amendol.a said there was no requirement for a meeting <br />this month. Commission on Aging.- Mr. Et.zler said there was no report. <br />Finance - Mrs. Bloom said Council met with?the employees earlier this evening. <br />She also noted several items that were discussed. (See Finance Committee , <br />min. 4/15.) Hillcrest Council of Council - Mrs. Bloom said their next meeting is <br />Wednesday, April 24, at 7 p.m. The topic of discussion will be stun.guns, <br />and they have requested that Mayor Carmen, Mr. Feneli, and Chief Stevens <br />attend this meeting. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Etzler had no report.
