32 <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they discussed the zoning of the land <br />in the Upper Forties area at their April lst meeting. They determined that <br />it was not zoned properly for condominiums. <br />Recreation - Mrs. Bloom said the Easter Party was a success. Softball season <br />will begin soon. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting this month. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Interceptor Sewer- Mr. Etzler stated this item was discussed earlier. <br />NOACA Bike Path Meeting 4/3/85 - Mayor Carmen explained the Village has applied <br />for two grants for bike path funds. The Village has received a partial grant <br />which would require the Village to provide matching funds. He said the Village <br />is hoping to receive the second grant which is for 100% funding. The path would <br />be extended from the cemetery across from Wiley Park to the Metropolitan Park. <br />Mr. Amendola said he met with the Federal Officials who provided us with a <br />complete description of the proposed bike path, ' <br />County's Assessment - Beech Hill - Mr. Feneli said this is in reference to the <br />Beech Hill road pavement project. The County was assessed for its portion of six <br />units but they have refused to pay the assessment even though it benefits from <br />the improvement. <br />Mrs. Bloom said she has been trying to set up an appointment with the three <br />County Commissioners but has been unsuccessful to dateo <br />Community Room Progress - Mr. Amendola reported that everything was going well. <br />Bids for tile are due Wednesday at 4 p.m. He expects the room to be ready by <br />May 18 as planned. <br />Quarterly Meeting with Sewer District - Mr. Etzler said locks have been put on <br />the.gateo 'Enforcement of Sign Ordinance - Michelle Cleaners -Mr. Etzler asked.if Mr. <br />Feneli had been given a copy of an article on this subject. Since Mr. Feneli <br />had not received the article, Mr. Etzler said this would be discussed later. <br />New Village Logo - Mayor Carmen said the artist is preparing the final print <br />of the logo and it will be completed at the end of the month. Then, we will <br />decide where it should appear and how.-to slowly phase it in. <br />Ordinance 85-1,entitled.; "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONS.ISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARDING AN EMERGENCY." <br />Introduced by Mayor Fred.
