50 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />5/16/88 <br />Page 2 <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Patrick said that Council received a copy of a complete set of financial <br />statements as of April 30. He said that as of June 30, there will be a <br />comprehensive set of accounts. <br />Mre Ramos explained the amendments in Ordinance 88-15 and Resolution 88-21. <br />In Ordinance 88-15, the number 5 was omitted from "Section 513.04(5)" in the <br />title of the ordinance. Resolution 88-21 now includes the provision for <br />installment payments and that it will be subject to the appropriation of <br />funds. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board & Board of Appeals - There was no report; Mr. <br />Amendola was absent. <br />Cemetery - Mrse Cinco reported that the committee met April 20. They are <br />waiting for Mr. Amendola to get estimates for leveling the drive and getting <br />gravel. She said that they will be hiring someone to cut grass, etc. and <br />that the cemetery should look nice by Memorial Day. <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mr. Basile said that the Committee met last <br />month. He was unable to attend the meeting since it was on the same evening <br />as the Mayfield Heights Council meeting that he attended (regarding <br />their annual Anniversary Party on Saturday. Everyone had a lovely time. <br />They are having a card party tomorrow and are going to Put-in-Bay on June 6. <br />They ?;have planned a welcome summer picnic for June 22 at Wiley Park. Mrs. <br />Cinco.' said that former COA member Nelson Porter passed awa.y over the <br />weekend. <br />'t received a copy of the minutes so he had no <br />report at this time. <br />RidgebuCommissry ion on Blvd.) Aging He - hasMrsn. Cinco said that the Commission on Aging held <br />Mayor Carmen and Council asked Mr. Ramos to prepare a Resolution of <br />Appreciation in recognition of Mr. Porter's work on the Commission on Aging <br />and in the Fire Department, <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mrs. Cinco to talk to Eunice Kalina regarding a potential <br />replacement for Mr. Porter on the Commission. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the committee met earlier this eveninge They <br />recommend that Council take the following action: _'. <br />Pass the ordinance retaining Dale Feneli in the Tasca litigation, <br />Approve the two 9-1-1 legislation items and the lease agreement, <br />Put the street lighting assessment legislation on the first of <br />three readings, <br />Approve the additional expenditure of $610 for the police radios, <br />Approve (or ratify) the payment of the Police Professional Liability_ <br />Insurance premium. ' <br />Mr. Flynn asked if the Engineer's 1988 street program sounded like a f irm <br />figure. _,
