<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />5/16/88 <br />Page 3 <br />Mayor Carmen said he thinks we need to look.at Hickory Hill, Sandalwood, and <br />Butternut. He thinks the total of those streets was in the vicinity of <br />$80,000. Mayor Carmen said that Council will have a budget on Monday. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Santoro said The Hillcrest Council of <br />Councils meets quarterly`o Their next meeting is on June 2. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr.,Petschauer said there was.no report. <br />P-lanning-and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met May 2. There was a lot split <br />request by Mr. Robertson on Echo Drive but as of that date the plans were <br />not submitted to the Engineer. Mr. Basile asked Mr. Feneli what the <br />situation was regarding the.Fisher's Tavern violation. <br />Mr. Feneli said that he was advised yesterday that a hearing will be held on <br />our motion f or a preliminary injunction next week. <br />Mayor Carmen asked that Mr. Feneli call every day to remind them. <br />Recreation - Mr. Santoro said that Recreation has not met since his last <br />report. Their next meeting will be this Wednesday. <br /> Safety and.Service - Mrs. Mills said there was no report. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 30" Force Main -.Mayor Carmen said that Mr. Hovancsek had told him that the <br /> contractor. submitted a price of.3.7 million.dollars to the County. The <br /> Sewer District had estimated the cost at about $950,000 to $1,000,150. Mr. <br /> Hovancsek doesn't think there is much chance that it will be approved. <br /> Berms on S.OeM. at Bike Path - Mayor Carmen said that w hen Mr.' Amendola <br /> receives a quote on limestone, they are going to discuss the proposal of <br /> putting limestone in where the grass is. <br />Mr. Flynn requested that a.letter be written to Mr. Amendola and Mr. <br />Hovancsek requesting that they send.an.alternate to.meetings they are unable <br />to attend. <br />Mayor Carmen explained that Mr. Amendola was ill. <br />Pesticide Ordinance - Mr. Basile asked if the Police Department could do the <br />citing`:for this since Mr. Amendola isn't_always.in his office. Mayor Carmen <br />suggested that he and Mr. Basile meet with Mr. Amendola to discuss how to do <br />it. Mayor Carmen said he just received .notification of legislation <br />introduced by Senator Fisher that would regulate private and commercial <br />application of pesticides and lawn care chemicals. He said that he would <br />provide Council with a copy of this. <br />Spaghetti-Company-Addition - Mr. Feneli said that. he has not yet received a <br />response.' He said that he and Mr. Ramos agreed that he would follow up on <br />this. <br />SOM/Beta Traffic Signal - Mayor Carmen said that all work is done.
