He said there is some question as to who will have the right- <br />of-way (the motorist or the cyclist.) . <br />Wilson Mills Road Update - Mr. Wolszynek reported that he spoke with the <br />Project Engineer's Office today. They feel that they are 50% complete with <br />Phase I of the project. All water and sewer work is complete. Mr. Wolszynek <br />said that 28% of the project is complete and they anticipate meeting the <br />September 30 deadline set for the project, . <br />Replacement f or Joe Abate - no discussion. <br />Employee Hospitalization - Mr. Basile said that a meeting with the insurance <br />representative and employees has been scheduled for August 23 at 3 p.m. <br />Berms -on S.O.M. at Bicycle Path - Mr. Wolszynek said that Mr. Hovancsek had <br />had sent f ield crews out on Friday to take measurements. He said they have <br />not determined what material will be used yet or exactly what will be done <br />with the berm aream <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Village Days Committee - Ratification of Expenses - Mrm Flynn, seconded by <br />Mrs. Mills, made a motion to ratify the_expenditure of $82,73 for the Village <br />Days Committee. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Approved <br />Dept. of Liquor Control Notice re Mr. Steak Transfer -.Mr. Basile. said that <br />Mr. Steak has been sold and the.new name of the restaurant will be Wheezers, <br />Inc. He asked if there were any objections from Council regarding the <br />transfer of the liquo-r permit to the new ownerss <br />There were no objections f rom Council regarding the transfer of the liquor <br />permit. <br />Ordinance Review Committee Changes - Mr. Basile said that this was discussed <br />earlier. <br />Mrm Ramos said that he will be working with Mr. Feneli to prepare some of the <br />changes. <br />Ken Labus (resident at 529 Zorn - re open storm sewer) - Mr. Basile said he <br />sent us a letter asking that he and his neighbor be reimbursed for a storm <br />sewer. He said since it is on private property (and not within the right-of- <br />way) there is no way the Village could make the expenditurev <br />Mr. Amendola explained that the original complaint from Mr. Labus' neighbor <br />was erosion. He said that we agreed if they would buy the pipe we would open <br />the land. At the same time they approached the gentleman next door (Mr. <br />Labus) and suggested that he do the same thing to avoid erosion. He chose not <br />to do so. He said that they decided later to buy pipe and do the work on <br />their own. Mr. Amendola said that we have no commitment with that at all.
