<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />9/26/88 <br />Page 9 <br />Cadillac Ambulance - Mr.Basile asked what the Village is doing with the old <br />Cadillac ambulance. <br />Mayor Carmen said that`we have only been offered about $950 fo'r it and that he <br />feels it will be able to serve Village furictions. <br />Mrs. Mills asked if it could be moved out of the parking lot, possibly to be <br />stored at the Service Building. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he will check with Mr. Amendola to see if it could be <br />stored outside the Service Building. <br />Sewage Problem - Mr. Basile said that this item had already been discussed. <br />Septic System Problems - Mr. Basile said that there are 46 septic systems in <br />the Village that have not been cleaned in 6-10 years. He asked if there was <br />anything the Village could do about it. Mr. Hovancsek said that the responsibility for maintenance of the system is <br />the homeowners. It is enforced by the County Board of Health. He said that <br />he will speak to Mr. Somrack about this matter tomo'rrow. <br />Mayor Carmen said that the primary responsibility is the homeowners and the <br />County has the responsibility to enforce it, Mayor Carmen asked that Mr. <br />Hovancsek report back to him and Council after he talks to the County. <br />Cablevision Transfer - Mayor Carmen said that Marie 'Coffey and a <br />representative f rom Cablevision will be at the October 3 Council Caucus at <br />8:30 p.m. and that the transfer could be discussed'at that time. <br />Mr. Flynn asked if we could obtain a resume from the Cablevision Company. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Miss Heath to contact Cablevision and request that they <br />send us a resume. <br />Mr. Basile said that he would like to amend the agenda to include Inland <br />Refuse. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. FTynn, made a motion to amend the agenda to <br />include Inland Refuse. <br />Roll Call: , AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />' Agenda to be Amended <br />Inland Refuse - Mr. Basile said that Inland Refuse has been picking up rubbish <br />at the Spaghetti Company at 5 a.m. He does not think this should be <br />tolerated. <br />Mayor- Carmen said that Mr. Amendola had sent a letter to Inland Refuse <br />advising them that they are not permitted to make pick-ups prior to 7 a.m. He <br />asked Chief Stevens Eo check with Mr. Amendola to find out when pick-ups are <br />\'- made and to alert his officers to look out for them. <br />I
