tic <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />9/26188 ' <br />Page 4 <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Cinco said there was no report. , <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs., Cinco said there was no report. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said that the committee met this evening and <br />have made the following recommendations: ' <br />1) Sale of notes for bonds for the Wilson Mills Road Water Line <br />Replacement - $450,000 <br />2) Passage of the ordinances re Street Repair -$22,495 plus Engineering <br />Fees <br />3) Passage of the two resolutions f or the purchase of road salt <br />4) Erection of fence for the Service/Historical House area -$1,040 <br />5) Xerox Machinefor Service Department -$1,649-$1,705 (Mayor Carmen <br />can select which machine they feel is adequate. <br />6) Purchase and installation of a canopy for the Police Dept. exterior <br />7) Repair and maintenance of the Community Building - approximately <br />$1,700 to bring it up to standards <br />8) Cleaning of the.HVAC system in the Police Dept., City Hall, and <br />Service Dept. - approximately $2,080 <br />9) Passage of the legislation re street striping -$4,792.90 <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Petschauer said there was no report: <br />Ordinance Review - Mr. Basile said the committee did not meet this month <br />because of the holiday. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Commission met September 12. <br />He said that Progressive Insurance has a proposal for a new building liut the <br />drawings indicate that they need a variance. He said that Planning and Zoning <br />did not consider it because they must seek a variance from Council. He said <br />that P&Z also reviewed Ordinances 88-28, 88-29, 88-30, 88-31, 88-32 and 88-33 <br />and recommend their passage to Council. Mr. Basile noted the other items <br />discussed at the meeting (see 9/12/88 P&Z min.) <br />Recreation - Mr. Santoro was not present; no report. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Mills said the committee met September 14. They had <br />referred the f ollowing items to the Finance Committee: . <br />1) Cost of fencing around the Historical House & Service Dept. 2) Xerox Machine for Service Dept. <br />3) Canopy for Police Dept. <br />4) Snow Plows for the Service Dept. <br />5) Maintenance of the Community Room <br />6) Cleaning of HVAC system for Village Hall & Police Dept. <br />Mrs. Mills said that they also referred to Mayor and Council the <br />specificatione f or a new fire truck. <br />Mr. Basile said that Mr. Amendola was excused now. <br />Mr. Basile said that he would like to amend the agenda to delete "Fencing at <br />600 S.O.M. Center Road" because Mre Amendola told him that it would be taken <br />care of tomorrow.
