13F <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/17/88 <br />Page 10 <br />Mrs. Mills said she thinks that since we have a Commission for the <br />Cemetery that we should also have one for the Historical Society. <br />She said this request is mainly so they could give input back to <br />Council. <br />Mr. Basile said that Mrs. Mills could" take the position on the <br />Commission and that Mrs. Cinco could be her alternate. He asked that <br />the Clerk of Council include the Historical Society on future <br />agendas. <br />Mrs. Mills said the quilt show generated over $3,000, over 400 people <br />were there, and over 150 quilts were displayed. <br />Water Line at 7129 Wilson Mills Road - Mr. Basile said that Mr. <br />Wellman had requested that the water main be extended to his <br />property. Since he will be responsible for the cost of the <br />extension, he is requesting to be reimbursed for anyone that ties <br />into the line he is extending. <br />Mr. Ramos said that if Council wishes, this could be handled the same <br />way that the Progressive matter was handled. He said that they could <br />have a resolution later on approving it if Council wishes to act at <br />this time. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that two resolutions were adopted in the 60's <br />where if someone tapped in they had to pay back a certain amount <br />toward the installation. <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 88-41, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE <br />REQUIRING A TAP-IN CHARGE TO BE PAID FOR USE OF A WATER MAIN <br />INSTALLED BY SAMUEL WELLMAN ALONG WILSON MILLS ROAD AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to enact Ordinance <br />No. 88-41 in title. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />(in title) <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 88-37, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 123.02 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO CONTRACTS AND THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br />BIDS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council.
