136 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/17/88 <br />Page 8 <br />Mayor Carmen read the title of the resolution (as follows): <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 88-50, entitled; "A RESOLUTION <br />GRANTING A 5' VARIANCE TO THE PROGRESSIVE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS ON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6300 WILSON <br />MILLS ROAD, SUBJECT TO THE SATISFACTION OF CONDITIONS STATED BY THE <br />VILLAGE ENGINEER IN A LETTER DATED SEPTEMBER 12, 1988, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Ramos said that was to suspend the rules. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adopt Resolution <br />No. 88-50 in title. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Resolution Adopted <br />Ridgebury Sewer Project - Mayor Carmen said that Mr. Hovancsek wrote <br />a letter to Mayor DeJohn advising him that Mayfield Village would not <br />be doing any tie-ins and asked that the tees be put in place so that <br />residents could tie-in at a later date if they needed to. He said <br />that he sent a letter to the County asking if there was any problem <br />with tieing in and he is awaiting a response. <br />Mr. Basile asked if the residents on Ridgebury were advised. <br />Mayor Carmen said that we will probably send them a letter advising <br />them that the tees exist. <br />Pathmaster System and Modification Agreement - Mayor Carmen noted <br />that there is a resolution later on the agenda regarding this. <br />Liquor Permit Request re Holiday Inn - Mayor Carmen asked if there <br />were any objections. <br />There were no objections. <br />Pump Station Landscaping and Maintenance - Mr. Hovancsek said that <br />information was passed onto Mr. Jim Bruggeman at the County Sanitary <br />Engineer's Office. He said that he will be contacting him this week <br />but that so far he has not responded. <br />Police Department Auction - Mr. Ramos said that the auction has been <br />scheduled for November 5 at 9 a.m. <br />County Board of Health re Septic System Problems - Mr. Hovancsek said <br />that he has not received an answer on this yet but hopes to receive <br />one this week. <br />Mayor Carmen asked if an article had been written for the Voice of <br />the Village regarding this issue. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The topic will be discussed in a few articles.
