154 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />11/21/88 <br />Page 10 <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />88-55. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if what Section 3 was about. <br />Mr. Ramos explained that that Section 3 designated that the money would be <br />spent for the restoration of the building and if it was not used for that <br />purpose that it would be returned. <br />Mr. Petschauer said that he feels that needs to be defined. <br />Mrs. Cinco said that that was done on the previous legislation. <br />Discussion was held about the contributions from other communities and the <br />balance in their account. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mrs. Plastine (in the audience) if they had determined the <br />approximate cost of maintaining the structure for one year. <br />Mrs. Plastine explained why they were unable to obtain an approximate cost at <br />this time. She said that once they get the basics that she feels they will be <br />able to maintain the home with the proceeds from the fund-raisers. Mrs. <br />Plastine explained that they are on the second phase of the proj ect- -getting <br />in the utilities and completing the interior work. Phase 3 will be to set up <br />the museum proper. <br />Mr. Flynn suggested that they might be able to speak to someone at the <br />Mayfield School System to obtain their expertise relative to cost projection, <br />etc. <br />Mayor Carmen said that he would be in favor of Mayfield Village making the <br />contribution this year.
