./. <br />153 <br />Regular Meeting of Council <br />11/21/88 <br />Page 9 <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />88-53. <br />Mr. Ramos explained that when the original agreement was signed it included a <br />4 yard container for the Service Building. Mr. Amendola had recommended that <br />the size of the container be increased to 8 yards. Consequently, there is a <br />difference in price of $35/month for the larger container. <br />Mr. Petschauer asked if the new agreement contained the provision that large <br />items will be picked up at no additional charge to the resident as did the <br />previous agreement. <br />Mr. Ramos said yes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 88-54, entitled; "A RESOLUTION DECLARING <br />PIERCE MANUFACTURING, INC. TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF ONE (1) TRIPLE COMBINATION PUMPING APPAR.ATUS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND <br />PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH PIERCE MANUFACTURING, INC., <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor <br />Carmen and the Entire Council. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />88-54. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 88-55, entitled; "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXPENDITURE OF TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,500.00) TO THE MAYFIELD <br />TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE HISTORICAL BUILDING AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />Council requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: Mr. Petschauer Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended
