73 <br />room parking east of Village Hall. They will probably separate the number <br />of streets to be resurfaced so that the bids.can be awarded. <br />M.A.R.C.- Mr. Etzler said that M.A.R.C. held a track meet; which had aver <br />150 participants between the four communities they serve. They also held <br />an "over 50's"dance which was also very successful. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the material received from Mr. Jon <br />Cole of Fisher's Tavern was not the complete information requested by <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission. The matter was referred to the <br />Village Engineer. When Mr. Hovancsek receives the complete information, he <br />will advise the.`Planning and Zoning Commission and a special meeting may <br />be called to review the proposal. <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer reported that this year.there will be 22 <br />childrens softball teams, and 8 adult teams. There-will also be raffle. <br />The proceeds will be used for a sports banquet at the end of the season. <br />A number of local businesses have donated prizes; (he named them.) Mr. <br />Petschauer explained the summer`playground program. He said there wi11 <br />be two races this year in conjunction with Village Days.. In addition to <br />the Annulal Five Mile Road Race held on Sunday, there will be a One Mile <br />Children's Fun Run held on Saturday:.. <br />Safety Service - Mr. Basile said there was no requirement for a Safety and <br /> Service meeting. <br />OLD BUSINESB <br /> . <br /> Hickory Hill - Sanitary Sewer - Mr. Hovancsek said he has contacted the <br /> residents from whom an easement is needed and they are very adamant about <br /> not wanting to give the Village the easement. He said Council will have <br /> to make a determination whether or-,-not they will take an easement through <br /> eminent domain, or what they will do. <br />Mr. Etzler astcect if the Village.were to take the easement by eminent domain <br />if they would assess the property owners for the installation of the <br />sewer. <br />Mr. Hovancsek sai.d the initial approach was to have the property owners work <br />together which has not worked successfully to date. <br />Mr. Etzler said this will be discussed at the next Caucus. <br />Mr. Feneli said the decision regarding assessment is strictly a legislative. <br />matter which can be decided.upon by Council. ' <br />Road Resurfacing - Mr. Etzler said this will be taken up at the Finance ..a <br />Committee meeting. <br />Hanus Property Drainage - Mr. Hovancsek said he and Mr. Amend`"o.1:a met <br />with Mr. and Mrs. Hanus this morning and discussed the drainage problem
