144 9/29/86 Page 14 Mayor Carmen told the residents the next Architectural Review Board Meeting is October 23 at 7:30 p.m. He asked Mr. Amendola to contact the A.R.B. members to ask that they qive notice of their next meeting to Mr. Amendola and Mayor Carmen and to hold the meeting at the Village Hall. Mayor Carmen said if they call a meeting anytime before the 23rd, he will let the residents know. He asked anyone wanting to be notified of the A.R.B. meeting to sign a sheet which will be available after the meeting. Mr. Goley said that not every Mayor in every community would call a meeting like this knowing that the residents are angry. He thinks Mavfield Village residents are fortunate to have a Mayor that would call a meeting to discuss this problem. Mr. Goley said he would like the Mayor to consider Mr. Comella when he makes the next A.R.B. appointment. Mr. Comella said h2 used to serve.on the A.R.B. and he would be happy to serve again. Mrs__Rouch, 6728 Hiclcory Hill Drive, said if the A.R.B. _ _ disapproves this building and it is stopped, what are the legal rights of the people that started it. Mayor Carmen said he would prefer not to discuss that at this time. ' Mr. Feneli said the Architectural Review Board has three things it can do: approve, deny, or return the plans for further work. It may not be positively resolved on the 23rd,'it can continue to be revised before the A.R.B. makes the final decision. Mayor Carmen said for some closing comments; he agrees with the consensus of opinion that the building i:s too large for the particular lot size. He said we try to work within the law and hope that we can do the riqht thing for the majority of the residents the majority of the time. The meeting was adjourned at 9:05 p.m. ,?5?
