<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />6/18/90 <br />Page 4 <br />Mrs. Mills said that she has talked to Mayor Swanson of Highland Heights. They would be <br />interested in discussing the feasibility of a combined fesrival next year. <br />Mayor Carmen said that Mayfield Heights has also expressed an interest in discussing the proposal <br />of a combined community fesrival. We will be contacring both communiries after Highland <br />Heights Home Days in July. <br />Golf Course Acquisition Committee - Mrs. Mills said that a meeting will not be scheduled until <br />they receive the information they are hoping to receive from the two architectural fums. <br />Buildina D_e_pt. Violation Tickets - Mr. Ramos said that Mr. Flynn presented forms used by another <br />community at the Ordinance Review Committee Meering. <br />Sealin o? f Asphalt Streets - Progressive Report - Mr. Ferrante said that people have told him that <br />their street was not completely sealed and, in some cases that the sealer was sprayed on 18" of their <br />tree lawn and on the drive apron. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that he will contact the contractor. <br />Mr. Basile said that they damaged his lawn. They told him they will come out tomorrow to take <br />care of it. <br />Mr. Amendola explained that the cracks in the road will be repaired by the Service Department. <br />A&J Cement Contract Street Repair - Startin Date - Mr. Hovancsek said the contractor is planning <br />to begin next week. <br />Mr. Ferrante said that he understands that Walnut will be the first street repaired. He asked if they <br />will be notifying the residents. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that they will be repairing one side at a time. They may start on another street <br />during the rime they are working on Walnut. The residents will be norified. <br />831 - 827 Hardwood Court Drain Tile Removal - Mr. Ramos said that the Village filed a lawsuit <br />against the home owners but within a few days they complied with the request and removed the <br />drain rile from the right of way. The problem was resolved. <br />Highland Road Ditch Repair - Starting Date - Mr. Hovancsek said that the contractor told him that <br />the work will be done this fall or possibly during late August. <br />Wilev Park Repair of Ball Diamonds - Mrs. Mills said that Mr. Amendola did a terrific job getring <br />the dirt and materials to do the repair of the diamonds. She asked if any more work will be done. <br />Mr. Amendola said he would turn over sand lot baseball to the Village. <br />Mr. Pietrafese asked if the fields could be watered to keep the dust down. <br />Mr. Amendola said he had asked the Fire Department to water the fields. <br />Chief Mohr said they will.
