1'21 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />7/16/90 <br />Page 6 <br />Mr. Warren said no and explained why the Village might have thought they would have to take the <br />vehicle to Alron for service. <br />Mayor Cazmen said he thinks we should contact Lake Truck. If they Have not taken any action, we <br />will tell them to hold up, then they will talk about it and make a decision in the next couple of <br />weeks. He suggested this item be refened to Caucus. He said that if some action has already been <br />taken by Lake Truck, we are locked in. If not, it is a new game. <br />Gazebo UVdate - Mr. Amendola said the columns will be erected about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. <br />The rafters and the entire layout of the roof will be done in the community room on the 19th. <br />Cement Street Replacement - Update - Mr. Hovancsek reported that it is going along well. He <br />requested permission to proceed with street striping. <br />Mayor Carmen gave his approval. <br />Highland Road Ditching - Mr. Hovancsek said they have nearly completed the project. It should <br />be completed in the next 7-10 days. The balance along the back and the rear-yazd azea to S.O.M. <br />Center Road has been done and seeded and is in good shape. He said the residents would like us <br />to culvert the ditch which they did not anricipate doing. Mr. Hovancsek said_ residents are:.not <br />happy with the existing ditch so they are doing some shoveling; he does not perceive it to be a <br />problem. <br />Mr. Basile said he would like to make an appointment with Mr. Hovancsek to walk the ditch with <br />the Singer's. <:. . <br />Mr. Hovancsek will set up an appointment. <br />Mr. Pietrafese asked if anything could be done to fix the road on the westerly side of S.O.M. <br />across Rt. 91 as you are going out of Aintree on Highland Road. <br />Mr. Hovancsek will look at the azea with Mr. Amendola. <br />Unn?er Fony Meeting,. - Mr. Ramos said Council could pass the resolution by title if they wish to <br />do so. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that he met with the Upper 40 residents and Bob Bright from Burgess and <br />Niple a few weeks ago. He said the Village should be receiving a proposal from Burgess & Niple <br />for a study of detention facilities, considering different locations for detention. He recommends <br />the Village seriously consider adopting the proposal. <br />Mr. Bright said that their letter of July 13 oudined the proposal and asked if Council had any <br />questions. They would provide a location study with a recommendation as to where the retenrion <br />pond should go, give cost comparisons, preliminary sizing, and parameters of design. It would <br />not provide plans and specifications. <br />Mr. Rinker asked what additional cost would be incurred to develop the specif'ications.
