? Special Council Meeting 1/30/89 Page Z Mr. Wolszynek named the projects that we hoped could be done in 1989. He said that our plan could be renewed each year. Issue Z funding is available in two factions: 1) If you restore or maintain, you are eligible for 90% funding. 2) If you are requesting monies for new projects, you are entitled to 50% maximum funding. We would not be committed to complete the project if we get the dollars. Mr. Rinker asked if the dollars would be earmarked to a specific project. Mr. Wolszynek said the dollars would be earmarked for the best use of the projects we have chosen. He doesn't know if there could be assessments involved or if we would have a period of time to come up with the money. Discussion was held about utilization of the study. Mr. Wolszynek named the several categories that funds can be applied for. - Copies of the Burgess and Niple report and of the priority list that was in the Application for Issue 2 Funding notebook were distributed. Discussion was held about the projects on the list. Mr. Basile asked if there was any further discussion about this capital improvement plan. Mrs. Mills asked if budgeting for the projects was something we had to consider. Mr. Patrick said the goal is to get the application filed. We would have a little bit of time to think about budgeting after we find out whether or not we will receive the monies. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-2, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE SUBMITTING TO THE ELECTORATE OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, A PROPOSED AMEMDMENT TO THE CHARTER OF THE VILLAGE PERMITTING THE VILLAGE COUNCIL TO MEET IN PRIVATE EXECUTIVE SESSION, PROVIDING FOR ALL NECESSARY PROCEDURES IN CONNECTION HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY."
