<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />3/20/89 Page 3 Planning and Zoning - Mrs. Mills said that Mr. Santoro was ill this <br />evening. Euclid Industries submitted a site plan and Mr. Paris <br />sent plans for Mt. Vernon. Mr. Amendola verified that this, will be <br />discussed at the next Workshop meeting. , <br />Recreation - Mr. Petschauer reported that the annual Easter egg hunt <br />was held on Saturday. Over 100 children participated. The 35 and over <br />basketball league is doing well. Interested players may still sign up <br />at Village Hall. The Recreation Board members will be talking to the <br />Landscape Architect about designing a playground at Wiley Park. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Mills said the Committee met March 8. Sgt. <br />Jay will be working with Mr. Hovancsek about traffic control at <br />SOM/Wildwood. ' <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Resolution No. 89-16 -(initiating legal action against NEORSD - Mrs. <br />Mills said that she wanted to include in the minutes that letters were <br />sent out regarding the tentative lawsuit against the NEORSD. <br />Bureess & Ninle Final Report/Priority_L_ist - Mrs. Mills said that the <br />list is available for anyone that wants to see it. Council and <br />the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission have received copies. <br />Aintree North Drainage (Home Owners Meeting March 13) - Mayor Carmen <br />said that he attended a follow-up meeting last Monday. He reported to <br />the association that he had tried to hold meeting with Mr. Caticcio but . <br />was unable to do so. Pursuant to his promise, he had the Law Director <br />draft a lawsuit to proceed in this matter. Mayor Carmen said that <br />he called Joe Aveni from Aintree North last Friday and spoke with him <br />but that he does not care to elaborate on it. He said it appears he <br />might be making progress and that he hopes to do so without litigation. <br />Traffic Light at Raleigh Drive - Mr. Hovancsek said that Mr. Wolfe had <br />advised him that there could be no changes until after the Wilson Mills <br />project has been completed and accepted. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Hovancsek to call him on Wednesday and said that <br />he would call Mr. Wolfe himself. <br />Bids for Left Turn Signals at Wilson Mills & SOM - Mr. Hovancsek said <br />that this item must also wait until after the project is accepted. <br />Mayor Carmen said that we will talk about this project too. <br />Construction of New Service Road - Custodial Services Contract - Mrs. <br />Mills said that an advertisement for bids was placed for both items. <br />The bids are due March 31. <br />Individual Zip Code for Mayfield Village - Mrs. Mills said that Council <br />felt there was no problem in waiting until we become a city to pursue <br />this topic.
