U f 71 J -t - <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />3/20/89 <br />Page 5 <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact <br />Ordinance No. 89-7. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 89-8, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTIONS 1313.05(c) AND 1313.06 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE; OHIO, PERMITTING SUSPENSION OF CONTRACTORS' REGISTRATION WITH <br />THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES." Introduced by <br />Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council. (First Reading 2/20/89.) <br />Second Reading of Resolution No. 89-4, entitled; "A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO PAY THE SURCHARGES ASSESSED BY <br />HOUSE BILL N0. 592 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor <br />Carmen and the Entire Council. (First Reading 1/23/89.) <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution <br />No. 89-4. <br />Mayor Carmen said that we had asked Waste Management if they could help <br />share this cost. He said that they have agreed to split the cost 50-50 <br />with us. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Primary Election, Ma_y_ 2, 1989 - Mrs. Mills said that the Board of <br />Elections has notified us that voting polls will be at the Mayfield <br />Village Senior Center/Community Room and at the Mayfield High School. <br />Retirement Party for.Sgt. Litman - Mrs. Mills said that a retirement <br />party for retiring Police Sergeant Chuck Litman will be held on April 3 <br />at Villa di Borally. Reservations are be taken now. <br />Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast Committee - Mrs. Mills said that <br />volunteers are needed. There will be a meeting when Mr. Basile returns <br />from vacation. Letters were sent to businesses asking them to <br />purchase tickets. <br />Fair Housing Proposal - Mrs. Mills said that Mr. Petschauer had asked <br />that the Fair Housing proposal be referred to the April 3rd Council <br />Caucus.
