<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />6/19/89 <br />Page 2 <br />Council as Board of Appeals - June 5, 1989 - Mrs. Mills, seconded by <br />Mr. Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR CARMEN <br />Mayor Carmen had no comment. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BASILE <br />Mr. Basile said that he would like to amend the agenda to include a <br />letter sent to Councilman David Petschauer from Mrs. Smakula in <br />reference to Fisher's Tavern. <br />Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the <br />agenda to include the letter from Mrs. Smakula. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Patrick said that there Wii1 be a tax budget hearing before the <br />Council Meeting next month. <br />ARCHITECTUR.AL REVIEW BOARD - Mr. Amendola said the Board approved two <br />single-family dwellings, 2 decks, and an accessory building at their <br />last meeting. <br />BOARD OF APPEALS - Mr. Amendola said there was no requirement for a <br />meeting. <br />CEMETERY - Mrs. Cinco said that the stones have been repaired by Jim <br />Teresi of Mayfield Heights and that alot of work has been done to bring <br />things up to par. <br />COMMISSION ON AGING - Mrs. Mills said that 48 people attended their <br />Anniversary Party on June 3. She said that 28 people attended their <br />bus trip to Put-in-Bay. <br />Fair Housing Committee - Mr. Petschauer said that they met on May 24 at <br />7:30 p.m. The meeting was held in the Council Chambers and was open to <br />all. He said that Mayor Carmen, Mrs. Mills, Mr. Petschauer, and the <br />President of the Hillcrest Neighbors were present at the meeting. Mr. <br />Petschauer said the first order of business was to establish the <br />direction of committee. They determined their direction was two-fold; <br />that discrimination will not be tolerated in Mayfield Village. Mr. <br />Petschauer said that the next meeting will be held on June 21 at 7:30 <br />p.m. in the Council Chambers. He said that a representative of the <br />Metropolitan Fair Housing Committee will be there to make a <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />
