Er','\ ??"y <br />(O? /?.J <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />6/19/89 <br />Page 4 <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Ditching at north side of Highland Road - Mr. Ramos said that he has <br />tried to contact Rusty Roseback several times but he is on vacation. <br />When he returns he will get together with him and try to resolve this <br />problem. <br />Berms at asphalted streets - Mr. Hovancsek said that he spoke to the <br />contractor about this matter. He said he looked at the site; he said <br />he will write a letter. Mr. Hovancsek said that after he receives the <br />letter that he will walk the site with him. <br />Cleaning and lining of water mains - Mr. Hovancsek said the contractor <br />has not contacted the Village to set up a pre-construction meeting. He <br />said that they will give us reasonable notice when it will start but he <br />does not know when it will start now. <br />Fisher's Tavern Injunction - Mayor Carmen said a pretrial was held last <br />Wednesday. At that time there was an inquiry as to whether the Village <br />would be interested in trying to settle the dispute by limiting the <br />number of tables out front and moving other tables to the side of the <br />building. Mayor Carmen said the Village's former Law Director said <br />that he would communicate to Council what was said. <br />Mr. Basile said that this will be discussed at the next Council Caucus. <br />Aintree North Drainage - Mayor Carmen said that Mr. Hovancsek received <br />the plans for this improvement and that bids are due Friday. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that they are considering raising the profile of the <br />grade. He hopes to meet with Bob Bright of Burgess and Niple and at <br />that point will put it out to bid. He said the issue of the channel <br />depth is very important. <br />Mayor Carmen advised Mr. Hovancsek to keep moving quickly as we have <br />made promises to residents. <br />Pancake Breakfast- Mr. Basile asked how much the Village made. <br />Mayor Carmen said about $1,200. <br />Mr. Patrick said that a report was included in the Council packets last <br />week. <br />Settlement problem at Sublot 69 Bramblewood Lane - Mayor Carmen said <br />that he will be meeting with Mr. Lawler this Wednesday to discuss the <br />proposal that Mr. Hovancsek prepared. <br />Beech Hill Pump Station - Mr. Basile said they had a couple of problems <br />recently. <br />Mr. Ramos said that as soon as the suit is filed they should schedule a <br />hearing date 2 or 3 days later.
