He said when the resolution was approved the system cost <br />was not included. <br />Mr. Santoro, seconded by Mr. Rinker, made a motion to approve the <br />expenditure of .$2,867 to Radio Communications Specialists for the <br />Village share of the police radio system. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Al1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 89-37, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL PARKING VARIANCE FOR THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS "WHEEZER'S <br />RESTAURANT" AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Mayor Carmen <br />and the Entire Council. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Santoro, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Santoro, made a motion to enact Ordinance <br />No. 89-37. <br />Mr. Ramos said the letter referred to in the ordinance was sent to <br />Wheezer's. He said Wheezer's had an informal agreement with Jefferson <br />Park to use their parking. Wheezer's also plans to add an eating area <br />in the back. Mr. Ramos said the letter states that Council wiii grant <br />the variance on the condition that Wheezer's provides the Village with <br />a letter of agreement from Jefferson Park stating that they have given <br />permission to Wheezer's to use their property for additional Wheezer's <br />parking. <br />Mr. Rinker said he would prefer to include a time frame of ten days <br />instead of leaving the time frame for obtaining such agreement open- <br />ended. <br />Mr. Ramos said that Section 1 of Ordinance No. 89-37 should be amended <br />so that such compliance with the conditions stated by the Law Director <br />shall be within ten days. <br />Mr. Rinker suggested the following wording for the amendment: "Subject <br />to satisfaction within ten days of this date of the conditions stated <br />by the Law Director to the owners in a letter dated September 15."
