Introduced by Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole. <br />(First Reading 11/20/89.) <br />Mr. Ramos said that Ordinance No. 89-49 will be amended and placed on <br />second reading again at the January meeting and be up for final vote on <br />passage at the February meeting. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Marathon Gas Station - Mr. Vince Petrillo from Marathon was present. <br />He addressed Council askiong that they consider their location as being <br />a poorly visibile location. He said they cannot market their product <br />without any type of sign. He asked that Council allow them to market <br />their product similar to the other, gas stations in the area. He <br />distributed a diagram of the proposed canopy and signage. Mr. Petrillo <br />said the canopy would be a free-standing canopy with four columns. <br />He explained the signs and logos proposed. <br />Mr. Ramos said that a variance would be required for the signage (not <br />the canopy.)
