? e? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />2/17/92 <br />Page Seven <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the plans to relocate the <br />sanitary sewer at Progressive Insurance. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Busa <br />Mr. Busa explained that he was abstaining because he is not aware of and does not <br />understand the subject at all. <br />Mr. Rinker asked to stop the vote for additional discussion. <br />Mr. Fixler asked what the impact will be on the present system with the relocation on the <br />Progressive system. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said it is posirive. T'he existing 8" line that is in quesrionable condition will <br />be replaced with a 10" line which will have significantly more capacity than the existing <br />sewer. <br />Mr. Fixler asked if there is a pump starion it will be going into and if so, will it be updated <br />to handle any addirional sewerage going to it. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said it is an all gravity line; there is no pumping station. The plans for the <br />sanitary sewers on the site have not been approved by the County at this time. The County <br />has indicated to the consultant that the creek crossing should also be replaced as part of the <br />project to reduce the flow. The creek extension is not on plan currendy. The County. <br />Sanitary Engineer is requiring that that be added to the plan. <br />Mr. Fixler said can we make sure that is included. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he has no problem with that; and will see that it is on the project plans. <br />Mr. Amendola said the Architectural Review Boazd met with the azchitects and engineers of <br />this project on February 6. It was an informative meering as to scheduling of the project. <br />There is no delay; they are waiting for some information which will be forthcoming on the <br />20th. <br />Mr. Rinker asked if there is anything else the Planning and Zoning Commission needs to <br />look at regazding the sanitary sewer relocation. <br />Mr. Fixler said if we are going to pass legislation could we have both projects mentioned in <br />there. <br />Mr. Rinker asked for a second roll call. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />ABSTAIN: Mr. Busa Motion Carried <br />Plans Approved
