24 <br />Regulaz Council Meeting <br />2/17/92 <br />Page Eight <br />• Hilltop Interceptor - Mr. Hovancsek explained the route for the interceptor. He said <br />the project was re-bid February 27. They are still anricipating the same completion da.te. <br />The entire project to the Beech Hill Pump Station is to be completed by 1995. <br />• I-271 - Mr. Hovancsek said the dual dual lane project is moving along. The Ohio <br />Department of Transporta.tion will be receiving the project environmental assessment this <br />winter. There is a plan afoot to start construction at the south end (by the interchange) this <br />year. <br />Mayor's Updates: <br />• Status of Finance DirectorBudget- Mayor Pietrafese said some last minute quirks <br />came up today. He thought he would have a candidate for Finance Director but will have to <br />put it on hold for another day or so. We are still running on last year's budget. We are <br />proceeding with budget inputs so it will be ready to go for the Finance Director. Mayor <br />Pietrafese said this matter should be resolved within a day or two. <br />Mr. Rinker said if a candidate appears to be tentatively okay, could Council have the <br />opportunity to meet with him. <br />Le 'slation: <br />Second Reading of Resolurion No. 92-05, enrided; "An emergency resolution consenting . <br />to the transfer of Cable T.V. franchise agreement and cable systems assets." Introduced by <br />Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 1/20/92) <br />Mr. Diemert said he has corresponded with Cablevision in New York but has not received <br />a response. Many other communities are holding the legislation until they get answers to <br />some quesdons. Mr. Diemert said he recommends that Council table the legislation until <br />they hear from Cablevision. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a morion to table Resolution No. 92-05. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolurion Tabled <br />A member of the audience commented that there will be a public meering tomorrow evening <br />in Solon about this proposal. <br />Mr. Basile, secondeti by Mr. Busa, made a morion to amend the agenda to include "Light at <br />Worton Park". <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br /> <br /> <br />
