41 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />3/16/92 <br />Page Three <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the committee met this evening. There will be a Special Meeting <br />next Monday at 7 p.m. At that time the Finance Director will explain to all members of <br />Council and the Mayor the workings of the 1992 budget. They will hold a formal meering <br />at 8 p.m. primarily to pass the legislarion. Mr. Flynn said the committee also discussed the <br />Parkview Amusement tax delinquency which may be 2 years delinquent. The Finance <br />Committee would like to recommend passing the following resolutions and ordinances: <br />Resolution 92-15, Ordinances 92-06 and 92-07. Mr. Flynn said the committee also <br />discussed the 1992 budget proposals with Mr. Amendola. They will meet in the very near <br />future to go over the 5 principal items 1VIr. Amendola submitted. They would like to <br />discuss the Planning and Zoning and Board of Appeals fees by Council as a Whole. The <br />committee discussed the main budget of 1992 which will be up for discussion next <br />Monday. Mr. Toth should have informarion available in the Friday packet. The promotion <br />and benefit account is up and running. Mr. Flynn said Mr. Amendola brought up repairs to <br />a 1988 vehicle; he has received two informal bids in the amounts of $3,300 and $4,060. <br />Mr. Flynn requested approval of same. He said the appropriarions ordinance must pass by <br />April lst. He thinks it is in the best interest for the Mayor and Council to discuss it. <br />Discussion was held about when a meeting could be held. <br />There will be a Special Workshop Meeting on Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. to discuss the <br />appropriations ordinance. A Special Council Meeting will follow at 8 p.m. to consider the <br />legislation. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no meeting; no report. There <br />will be a meeting on Saturday, March 21. <br />Historical SocietX - Mrs. Cinco said work is progressing on the coach and hearse room. <br />The next meeting will be Apri18 at the Mayfield Village Community Room. The annual <br />Arbor Day ceremonies will be Apri124 at 10 a.m..at the Historical House at 606 S.O.M. <br />Center Road. It is a joint event sponsored by the Mayfield Township Historical Society <br />and the Mayfield Village Garden Club. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they met March 5. They are beginning a new era. The slate <br />of 1992 officers is as follows: President: Joanne Cinco; Vice President: Stanley <br />Schneider; Assistant SecretaryfTreasurer: Bill Shaylor. Mrs. Cinco said they are planning <br />for their art show which to be held at the Mayf'ield Heights Community Room. Their next <br />meeting is Apri12. <br />Ordinance Review - Mr. Rinker said he does not anticipate a meering will be held this <br />month. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said the Commission met March 2. They did not have <br />anything on their agenda. The Progressive site plan will be on the agenda for their <br />workshop meering Thursday. Wheezer's Restaurant has submitted drawings; there is a <br />possibility a sign ordinance variance will be discussed. Mr. Basile said that Mr. Bordonaro <br />moved and will no longer be serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />
