42 <br />Regular Council Meering <br />3/16/92 <br />Page Four <br />Recrearion - Mr. Fixler said they met February 19. The balance in the Recreation fund is <br />$21,354.07. They are gathering information on playground equipment at Wiley and will <br />be making a presentarion to Council. The cost will be between $15-20,000. At that time <br />they will show where the funds would come from. Everyone should have received <br />correspondence from Mr. Hudacko regarding the Debbie Hudacko Memorial Run. It will <br />be referred to Recrearion and then referred back to Council before they act on it. Softball <br />registrarion will be Wednesday, 7-8:30 p.m. They aze raising the fees for the half-day <br />camp but the pool fee will remain the same. They are asking anyone who will be paying <br />$35 to bring proof of residency. The Mayor is getring a clown for their Easter Party. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met March 2. The Committee heard from Ken <br />Shrefler who presented reports on diesel exhaust systems. <br />Execurive Session - Mr. Rinker said that Mr. Gavin is here and that Council has lengthy <br />matters of litigarion to discuss with him. He requested Council make a motion at this rime <br />to recess into Executive Session. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a morion to recess into Execurive Session to <br />discuss litigation matters. ROLL CALL: AYES : All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carried <br />Council went into Execurive Session at 8:30 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 9:38 p.m. <br />Mr. Rinker apologized for the delay; there was substanrial business to handle. <br />OLD BUSINES5: <br />Engineer's Updates/Status Reports: <br />Sanitarv Sewer for Proaressive Insurance (bidding) - Mr. Hovancsek said Progressive <br />took bids last Tuesday. They are in the process of awazding a contract to a contractor, <br />however, they are not relinquishing his name at this time. We should lrnow by the end of <br />the week. <br />Revised Street Resurfacing?List - Mr. Hovancsek said the list which was revised and <br />prioritized was submitted to Council and the Administration. <br />Solid Waste Management Plan - Mr. Hovancsek said the plan is being prepared for <br />Cuyahoga County by the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission. The plan is on track <br />and they appear to be doing a good job on behalf of the municipalities in Cuyahoga <br />County. <br />
