46 <br />1Zegular Council Meeting <br />3/16/92 Page Eight <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 92-09. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES : All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mr. Rinker said one oversight was concerning Mr. Phillips and asked Council to amend the <br />agenda to include discussion regarding the Safety and Service liaison. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a morion to amend the agenda to include Safety <br />and Service liaison. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Mayor Pietrafese said we need to save time because he would like to try to get Mr. Phillips <br />going and moving subject to Safety and Service Committee approving his job description. <br />There is a lot of things would like to get him started on. <br />Mr. Rinker said they had initially referred this to committee but this matter was not <br />discussed at the last Safety and Service Meeting. His suggestion, maybe a way to handle <br />it, is to take a straw vote and have Mayor Pietrafese let Mr. Phillips pursue a dry run of his <br />job. He said they would not be making any final decision now but simply be providing an <br />opportunity for Mr. Phillips to take a stab at it so Council can look at it. <br />Discussion was held about possibly using Mr. Phillip's assistance with the Pancake <br />Breakfast. <br />Mr. Fixler, Mr. Basile, and IVIr. Ferrante did not see any reason for Mr. Phillip's assistance <br />in reference to the Pancake Breakfast. <br />Mr. Phillips said he knew nothing about the Pancake Breakfast and he is not soliciting <br />anything. If the Village wants his services he would be able to service the community. <br />More discussion should take place as to how that would happen. It is something he feels <br />the community will benefit from. <br />1V[r. Fixler thinks the description is what was stated. <br />Mr. Rinker said he is of a different opinion. He sees no harm in getring more specific <br />details. He thinks that should be discussed in greater detail. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />IVir. Basile questioned the plans for mosquito spraying in the Village. He asked if we <br />would know what and how they are going to spray.
