ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />MAYOR'S COMMENTS: <br />Mayor Pietrafese thanked everyone for working at the Pancake Breakfast. Mr. Amendola did his <br />usual wonderful job, as well as Sandy and Marie Basile. He saw just about everyone of the <br />Council people there and he will have the final dollars made in his weekly summary report. <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT COMMENTS: <br />None at this time. DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />Mr. Amendola: None at this time. <br />Mr. Woloszynek: Gave a report on the final Issue 2 funding requests for the four projects as <br />follows: <br />1. Highland/S.O.M. Center Intersection, Widening/Signalization Project. Out of the $436,000 <br />90% is allowed ($392,000). <br />2. Upper Forty Expansion Project $339,000.00, 50°Io is allowed ($169,000). <br />3. Composting Facility after December of 1993, no more yard wastes will be permitted in <br />landfills. Cost of the project $137,000.00 with 50% allowed ($68,750). <br />4. Metro Pazk Storm Sewers - Both sides are inadequate. $398,000 Project Tota1. They have <br />applied for $199,000, <br />TVIr Diemert: None at this time. <br />Chief Mohr: Stated they are starting the annual hydrant flushing project. Articles will be in the <br />newspapers telling the residents what is going to be done and signs will be posteci on the <br />appropriate streets. <br />Mr. Rinker reminded Council that Voice of the Village articles are due June 2, 1992.
