L: <br />120 <br />Regulaz Council Meeting . <br />7/20/92 <br />Page Four <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no meeting; no report. <br />I3istorical SocietX - Mrs. Cinco said the work in the gift shop has been completed. The Ice Cream <br />3ocial will be held September 9 at 6 p.m. at the pavilion at Wiley Park Tickets for the quilt raffle <br />are available. It will be held October 9, 10, and 11 in the Mayfield Village Community Room. <br />M.A•R•C•- Mrs. Cinco said they met July 2. There was nothing on their agenda other than the <br />review of the books (which was completed for the period 1984-1991.) The next meeting will be <br />held September 3; there will be no August meeting. . <br />Ordinance Review - Mr. Rinker said they did not meet. 'He suggests they skip this month unless <br />anyone has something urgent. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met July 6. Cooperman's wants to put up a patio. <br />They have not submitted a drawing yet and there is no room for a patio. He thinks they will be <br />moving forward on the demolirion of the house next to the church. Council approved additional <br />office space for Ken's Auto at a Special Meeting. . <br />Recreation - Mr. Fixler said they met June 17. They would like to thank everyone for the annual <br />dinner. There were over 380 softball players (children). If you combine children and adults, over <br />600 people aze using the fields. Over 95 children are involved in the summer playground program <br />this year. Just a couple of years ago, there were only 35 children. Swim lessons are being offered <br />for those in the Village or other communities, between 2-3 and 3-4 p.m. at the High School. The <br />playground equipment is expected at any time. They are hoping to have it in place by the Village <br />Picnic on August 16. The winners of the Debbie Hudacko Memorial Scholarships this year are <br />Nicole Cinco, Carolyn Barni, and Jennifer Arndt. There were about 400 participants including <br />walkers. The Craft Show is coming up in November. If ariyone knows of someone who wants to <br />display their wares, they should contact the Recrearion Boazd. <br />SafetY and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met July 6. At that time they discussed the sprinkler <br />request, recommend the purchase of an exhaust system for the Fire Department for $35,000 <br />including prevailing wages (it is primarily a health issue.) Also discussed was the false alarm <br />ordinance and an in-car video camera for $5,600. <br />Mr. Rinker asked for a motion of Council to amend the agenda to include the sprinkler system, <br />video camera, and Ordinance No. 92-22 regarding the Plans Examiner. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a morion to amend the agenda to include the above- <br />mentioned items.
