158
Regulaz Council Meeting 9/21/92 -
Page Eight _
Mr. Fixler suggested the times the trucks will enter and exit (9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) be added to the
agreement.
Mr. Ferrante asked if Mr. Diemert wanted to include that they are not able to hold us responsible.
Mr. Diemert said yes.
Mr. Diemert said he will list all the specif'ic points in a letter.
Mr. Galler said because the store's personal property inventory will be stored in the Village, it will
add to the Village's income.
Mayfield United Methodist Church - Expansion of Parking I.?ot - Mr. Basile said the Church asked
for a variance for the elimination of curbs for their present parking lot expansion at this time. The
Planning and Zoning Commission recommended Council grant a temporary variance to the church
with a time factor of 3 years. A review is to be made in 18 months; if they have no plans for
expansion at that tune, curbs would have to be installed. Mr. Basile said the Commission turned
down the request for a set back variance completely. .
The gentleman from the church said they would like to address Council about one issue--the set
back variance. They appreciate the recommendation to approve the expansion of the parking lot
and can live within the limitations about the curbs. Worship is increasing and they are trying to
think about how to keep pace with this type of growth.
Discussion was held. 1V1r. Amendola said in view of the fact it was a church, the Architectural Review Board felt the
property would continue to be used as church property.
Mr. Basile said by using the 90' set back they would only lose six parking spaces.
Consideration of Variance to 90' Set Back
Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt the request by the Mayfield United
Methodist Church for a variance to the 90' set back (details included in the minutes of the Planning
and Zoning Commission of September S, 1992.)
ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Busa
NAYS: Mr. Basile, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, Mr. Flynn, and
Mr. Rinker Motion Not Carried
Request Denied
Consideration of Curb Variance Request
Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to adopt the request from the Mayfield United
Methodist Church (810 S.O.M.
