He said 424 people
participated in the program last year so there would be approximately 141 in each unit. He
suggested they not dump 400 residences on a contractor again because they will have the same
problem they had last year.
Mr. Rinker said the letter to residents requires them to have their applications notarized. He
suggested a modif'ication be made to the letter--maybe some form of witness is necessary but
notarization may not be necessary.
Mrs. Cinco asked if it will be specif'ied that one contractor cannot bid on all three.
Mr. Ferrante said last year Progressive came at 6 a.m. or earlier and if there was not enough snow,
they would not come back until after 6 p.m. He said that is not acceptable.
Mr. Diemert said the specificarions will be worded that whenever the snow gets to 2" they must
come back to plow.
Mayor Pietrafese said he thinks we will be having a problem if we look for three different people to
do three sections but we will try it. We should include an option to bid on all in the specifications.
