167 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />10/5/92 ? <br />Page Five <br />Mr. Rinker asked if Mr. Marquardt was saying that none of the material that they went over at <br />Caucus was delivered to Planning and Zoning. <br />Mr. Marquardt said he read the minutes of the last Council meeting and that he saw a copy of the <br />letter from Mr. Diemert showing the conditions. He said this has been floating around for the past <br />couple of months and nothing was ever presented--at least in an organized manner that you can sit <br />down and say here aze the pros and cons. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Flynn said he cannot vote on this tonight; he thinks Planning and Zoning should have all the <br />information as soon as possible. . <br />Mr. Rinker said Council will not take a vote on this tonight. He would like to see if they can strike <br />some middle ground and enter into the workshop with an eye toward looking at things fairly; he <br />feels a need to move forward in a rimely way: <br />Mr. Rinker asked if there were any other items that should be included on tonight's agenda. <br />Mr. Flynn suggested Council consider Ordinance No. 92-36 this evening. <br />Mr. Rinker suggested Council also consider the bid received from Surface Engineering for the <br />concrete pad at the Fire Station. (The special meeting notice already included second reading of <br />Ordinance No. 92-34.) Mr. Rinker asked if Council wished to amend the agenda to include these <br />items. <br />Agenda Amended - <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the agenda to include consideration <br />of Ordinance No. 92-36 and approving an expenditure to Surface Engineering for the concrete area <br />at the Fire Station. <br />Mr. Amendola said Ordinance No. 92-36 is something that should be given immediate <br />considerarion. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Morion Catried <br />Agenda Amended <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 92-36, enritled; "An emergency ordinance amending Section <br />1305.11 relative to architectural drawing requirements under the building code." Introduced by <br />Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three sepazate occasions. <br />
