<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />10/19/92 <br />Page Eight <br />AMhalt Storage Area - Considerarion of Bid Received/Status of Leaf Clean-up and Conditions for <br />Mr. Amendola said they are trying to keep ahead of the leaf program. Velotta Paving was the low <br />bidder on the asphalt storage area project and the pad is prepared. <br />The legislation for the asphalt stora.ge project is listed later on the agenda. (92-38). <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 92-37, enrided; "An emergency ordinance enacted by the Village <br />of Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and <br />requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio." Introduced by Mayor <br />Pietrafese and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, Mr. Flynn, <br />and Mr. Rinker <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a morion to enact Ordinance No. 92-37. <br />Mr. Diemert said this is for the repair and resurfacing improvement of Highland Road from the <br />Mayfield West Corporation Line to S.O.M. Center Road. T'he County will pay 80% towazd this <br />project; the Village will pay 20% plus 40% of the preliminary engineering costs. License tax funds <br />will also be used in the payment of this. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he recommends that Council pass this. It is favorable for the Village to <br />receive funding from the County.
