~..~ ~- <br />Mr. Bennett stated this ordinance would change the limit of <br />$2500 by Purchase Order to ,$5000. Which means the Department <br />Head can request a purchase up to $5000 without putting thee, <br />work or item out for bid. This .s till requires the signature <br />of the Finance Director and previously budgeted. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be.read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />;Rules Suspended <br />,. <br />Miss Trask ,. .:seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a motion to pass <br />Ordinance 80-42. <br />Ro11,Ca11: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None. Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Discussion was held on the means of control and it was established <br />all expenditures would have to have been budgeted. <br />The Mayor ,questioned the. amount of money the Mayor can ,spend <br />without Councih's approval; not that he had intentions 'of <br />spending any. <br />The Law Director to check the matter out. <br />Resolution 80-43, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY.~~.RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN EASEMENT FROM PETER GALIER AND ELIO CARLINI <br />FOR THE. INSTALLATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF A WATER MAIN."Introduced <br />by Council a_s a Whole. <br />Mr. Hovancsek commented that two easements were required: (1) for <br />the water main and (2) for the sanitary force main. <br />Mr.,Feneli stated he had received only the paper work for the <br />water main. <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate <br />occasions. .. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules.Suspended <br />
