267. <br />Mayor Beebe reported the Recreation group are involved in the <br />plans for the Village Days activities. Also, the All Star <br />Games were held on Sunday. <br />Community Building - Mr. Amendola reported that plans are being <br />made to raise monies for this project during the Village Days <br />activities which will help cover the expense of the preparation <br />of plans for the building. <br />Mr. Bennxett questioned the need for legislation to accept <br />donations for this project as covered in a piece of legislation <br />previously prepared by the Law Department. <br />Mr. Feneli stated that this legislation would not have to be <br />passed as normally done but instead the monies could be deposited <br />in the Capitol .Improvement Fund earmarked for the Community <br />Building. Still waiting for Federal Funds for this project. <br />Cable T.~. - Mr. Carmen reported he had an Ordinance in rough form <br />which incorporated parts of the surrounding communities legislation <br />on the subject. He suggested a~meeting of Council be held to review <br />the Ordinance and then a Special Meeting of Council be held to hear <br />a presentation from each of those companies interested in getting <br />this franchise. Council should be able to make a selection by the <br />next Council Meeting. <br />Mr-. Bennett stated he woa.ld like to amend the agenda to include <br />several pieces of legislation that should be considered this <br />evening. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Ordinance 80-44, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER <br />1505 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE AND ADOPTING THE <br />OHIO BUILDING OFFICIALS CODE AND ADMINISTRATION FIRE CODE, 1978 <br />EDITION AND THE NATIONAL FIRE CODES, 1980 EDITION, VOLUMES ONE THROUGH <br />SIXTEEN." Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Feneli commented this is a.comprehensive fire prevention code <br />which includes the 1978 and 1980 Editions of the Building and Fire <br />Codes and related Codified Ordinances. A meeting had been held <br />with Chief Hejcl, Dave Mohr, Don Porter and himself to review these <br />codes and they feel it is a very extensive code. <br />Mr. Bennett questioned if revisions would have to be made every year. <br />Mr. Feneli stated the National Fire Code is revised about once every <br />ten years and the B.O.A.C.A. Code has~to be revised or readppted <br />every three years. <br />Mayor Beebe asked if Chief Hejcl had reviewed the legislation and <br />Mr. Feneli replied that he had sppken to him today on the phone <br />as he was out of his office. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Spellman., .made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />
