~~ <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />1 <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to pass <br />Ordinance 80-44. <br />Mr. Flynn extended compliments to Mr. Feneli for the effort he <br />has put into the study of this code. <br />Chief Stevens questioned if the code provides for a member of the <br />Fire Department to .enforce the code; does Council have to approve: <br />Mr. Feneli stated that the Chief would be the enforcing agent or <br />whomever he designates and this is without further involvement from <br />Council, <br />Ordinance 80-48, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING <br />SETTLEMENT OF A LAWSUIT BY THE PAYMENT OF THREE ^1HOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED <br />DOLLARS ($3,500.00) PLUS COURT COSTS TO LAWRENCE J. FLYNN AND WEISMAN, <br />GOLDBERG, & WEISMAN, HIS ATTORNEYS:" Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Given Third Reading. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to pass Ordinance <br />80-38, <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Carmen, Spellman and Miss Trask <br />NAYS: None <br />PASS: Mr. Flynn <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Street Lighting Assessment - Mr. Fenelm stated that at the last <br />meeting he had been requested to draft an Ordinance repealing <br />Ordinance 80-41 since Mr. Hovancsek suggested the assessments be <br />dor..e on a yearly basis. When reviewing Ordinance 80-41 he realized <br />no time limit had been put in the Ordinance and it would not be <br />necessary to repeal it. He questioned if Mrs. Maynard had advertised~~. <br />in tl~e paper as required by the Ordinance. No orie could verify this <br />so Mr. Feneli stated he would follow up on the matter tomorrow. <br />Mr, Hovancsek to remind Council to take action by Ordinance in 19810 <br />Utility Sub-Contractor Bonds - Mr. Feneli stated this was still being <br />reviewed and will have an Ordinance in rough farm at the next Caucus. <br />Mr. Bennett stated an Ordinance regarding the Echo Drive assessments <br />would be considered at the Special Meeting on Wednesday. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Ordin ance 80-51, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AWARDING A <br />CONTRACT TO NORTHERN OHIO PAVING CO. AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER <br />FOR THE PAVING OF TI-IE SERVICE BUILDING SITE, INCLUDING THE PARKING <br />LOT AND DRIVEWAY, LOCATED WITHIN HAYFIELD VILLAGE." <br />1 <br />1 <br />
